1. The Planet Mercury & 5th house lord should be in the friendly house; and shout not be weakened or debilitated.
2. If the Mercury stays in 4th, 7th, 10th and 1st house,then the level of education & skills would be moderate.
3. The Mercury & 5th house lord should not be weak or debilitated in Navamsa or Dasamsa chart.
4. If the Mercury gets less than 4 points in the Mercury Ashtavargha table, then the person's inner knowledge would be very weak.
5. The movement of Mercury and 5th house lord should not be in a retrograde manner.
6. The Mercury & 5th house lord should not be combusted by the Sun.
7. The Mercury & 5th house lord should not be aspected or conjucted by Shani.
8. The Mercury & 5th house lord should not stay in 3rd, 6th, 8th and 12th house from Lagna.
9. The Mercury & 5th house lord should not be aspected or conjucted with 3rd, 6th, 8th and 12th house from the Lagna.
10. The Mercury & 5th house lord should not move in Avaroghana Path (Movement from Exalted position to Debilitated position is called as Avaroghana).
11. The Mercury & 5th house lord should not get Thithi Sunyam.
12. The Mercury & 5th house lord should not traverse in the 22nd Star from the Moon Sign or 88th path from the Moon Sign.
If your answer is YES to all questions, you get 12 marks (One mark for each question). If the marks are 1 to 12, then the level of education and skills should be calculated as Very Poor to The Best on a corresponding level.
